Our Preparatory School Pipe Band was rewarded for its hard work and dedication with a runner-up placing in the Development section at the inaugural Australian Juvenile Pipe Band Championship over the long weekend.

Students from the Senior School also joined them at Scots PGC in Warwick, Queensland, to perform in the Solo component of the championship weekend, and staff also took part.
Our Head of Pipes and Drums, Mr Ainsley Hart, said that the older Pipes and Drums boys were able to act as mentors for the younger boys over the weekend.
"The trip gave the boys a fantastic opportunity to develop their playing and pipe band skills among the best student players in Australia," Mr Hart said.
"The boys performed excellently and were rewarded with the runner-up position in the Development section of this Australian championship. What a phenomenal result. We are all extremely proud of their achievements."
