After arriving in Dallas yesterday afternoon, our Prep students are excited to mark their mark on the world stage.
Knox has the most teams of any Australian school taking part in the international competition, which Team Leader of Innovation Ian Fairhurst said is "a massive achievement by the boys."
Following a very successful 2023-24 season, the teams – who qualified for the World Championships across four separate age group competitions – finessed their robots and plans during the April holiday break.
Mr Fairhurst said the Prep students will spend their first day on the ground supporting the Knox team 1940B, ‘Poyo’, who are in the VRC Middle School competition ‘Innovate’ division.
"They have formed a really tight bond over the break and the Year 8 boys have had a strong start to their competition," Mr Fairhurst said.
"They are due to have a very big cheer squad on their last day of competing!"
Students in the IQ Middle School and IQ Elementary School competitions will take to the arena from 1-3 May.
