The Australian Schools Teams Chess Championship (ASTC Chess) is Australia's premier national tournament for junior chess players.
Run by the Australian Chess Federation (ACF), this prestigious competition features separate divisions for both primary and secondary school students, with open and girls' categories at each level. In addition to crowning national champions, the tournament provides an important opportunity for young chess enthusiasts and their schools from across Australia to come together, compete, and connect with one another.
Before the Finals, our students will be involved in several other competitions, including the NSW Junior Chess League Finals, the Interschool Chess Challenge on Friday, and the competition for the Terrey Shaw shield this Sunday.
