Positive Self Talk

Self talk is the things you say to yourself, your inner voice. You may not even realise it's there! But the way you speak to yourself can have a huge impact on how you feel.

Oftentimes our self talk can be negative - have you ever caught yourself thinking 'I'm so stupid?' or 'I can't do anything right'? In fact, we're much more likely to remember negative experiences than positive ones, which can fuel our negative self talk.

Positive self-talk is the opposite of this. It doesn't mean we 'think happy thoughts' all the time, but rather acknowledging that we can make mistakes and that's ok.
